Why Membership?
Become a member of the the oldest arts society in Dayton.  Membership provides a community of artists along with access to workshops, speakers, and professional development, along with a host of other benefits. Membership is open to artists and art patrons 18 years or older.

Your Voice Matters: 

As a member of the DSA, you get to vote in future members of our Board of Directors at our annual meeting in May. In that meeting, we also give a year in review and fiscal report. The board makes it a fun networking event as well, so keep a lookout in your inbox for details.

We are always looking for volunteers or ideas for programming. Feel free to email director@daytondsa.org with your ideas or for volunteer opportunities!


Gift a Membership!

Love the DSA so much you'd like others to experience the benefits? Go to our Donate page and gift $20 for a student membership, $45 for an individual membership, or $70 for a  family membership. Please be sure to note that it's for a gift membership. Let us know the individual's contact information if it's for someone specific, otherwise we'll make sure it goes to someone special.

*Monthly Programs:


Join us for our Saturday Nude Figure Drawing session. $5 modeling fee, and make sure to bring your own supplies. Space is filling fast so make sure to come a little early for a good seat! Free street parking or in the lot across the street.

Bring a packed lunch, your artwork or other art to share, or just come for some community. It is a free event, so come and network with local artists!

Art lunch is every Thursday:

Constructive feedback can help take your art to the next level. But when an art school teacher isn’t one hand-raise away, it’s hard to find the critiques you need to grow.

Topic: Bring a work in progress to critique, a concept to talk about, or talk about some of the artwork in our current show.

This is a FREE event - come and enjoy constructive conversations! Coffee will be provided.
