About Your Instructor:
In addition to being a painter, sculptor and art history professor, Dr. Alan moved from New York to Italy where he teaches the fresco techniques of the Renaissance masters to whomever is willing to learn. See his story here in this 11 min. clip from LdM NEWS (2013):

The purpose of the workshop series, Introducing..., is to acquaint DSA members and the community to different mediums and methods in the visual arts. In conjunction, the attendees will get to know the instructing artist, their background, and tips and tricks of their trade.
