Jeanne Fehskens A Fragile Thread, 2025 18in x 18in Mixed Media: monoprints, Ecoprinted fabric, paint, collage $200 -- Peace in the world is not as simple as 'black and white'. Subtle things can tear at the fabric of bigger ideas such as freedom, security and democracy. The poem, image of the embracing couple and the globe made of tattered cloth included in this work were clipped from a magazine in the 1970's. I had pasted it in my journal because of my concern over the Vietnam war. What have we learned?
