This months topic:
Copying Artwork with Your Camera
Painters, illustrators, and mixed-media artists often need high-quality digital files of their work, but scanning isn’t always an option. In this workshop you’ll learn how to use your camera to create accurate, professional reproductions of flat artwork. We’ll cover setting up even lighting, avoiding glare, aligning the camera for distortion-free shots, and capturing true color. You’ll practice photographing real artwork during the session and leave with a repeatable setup you can use at home or in your studio.

Paul "Hitch" Lyons is a professional photographer and educator based in Dayton, Ohio. He is the owner and operator of Storm Falcon Studios where he provides professional imaging and media with experience that stretches over 20+ years.
