Paul Lyons: Photographing Flat and Dimensional Artwork
When: Sunday, November 3rd, 1 - 3pm Where: Dayton Society of Artists, 48 High St.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the techniques and best practices for capturing both flat and dimensional artwork, ensuring true-to-life color, texture, and detail. Whether photographing paintings, drawings, sculptures, or mixed media, attendees will gain the skills to create high-quality images that accurately represent the artwork. The session will cover lighting, camera settings, background choices, and post-processing tips tailored to both 2D and 3D works of art. A Canon camera will be available to practice with, but if you have a DSLR or Mirrorless camera and lens(es) bring them along for more specific instruction on your particular camera.
