Introducing… Dr. Yufeng Wang and Ink & Wash Brush Painting
Session 1 - Sunday July 10th from 1 PM to 3 PM at the DSA
Join the DSA in an ink and wash brush painting workshop! Participants will learn how to paint Panda/Bamboo with the ancient ink and wash technique with Dr. Yufeng Wang, professor and award-winning artist in Dayton. The goal of ink and wash painting is not simply to reproduce the appearance of the subject, but to capture its soul. Come away from the workshops with a completed work, and an appreciation for cultural context, particularly East Asian artistic and meditative expressions. All supplies will be provided.
