October 9, 2020
The Dayton Society of Artists (DSA) is pleased to announce its second annual fundraiser, which will take place October 9, 2020 from 7pm to 8:30pm online over Zoom! Register and receive vouchers to the best eateries in St. Anne's Hill, a fun-filled night of trivia, art, silent auctions, and more! The evening will be emceed by Ron Rollins and Duante Beddingfield.
Since we can't meet and eat together in person this year, your registration to "Come As You Art" will include three vouchers to the best of St. Anne's Hill's eateries! You'll receive a voucher for 5th Street Brewpub to use for a chicken sandwich or veggie burger (to go), a beverage valued up to $7 from the Gem City Catfé (adult beverages included), and a personal sized dessert from St. Anne the Tart!
Live Music will be provided by Willow Acoustic Ohio.
As part of your registration, you'll receive an art project kit which includes a printed, locally designed "Dayton Strong" image on heavy paper, acrylic paints, and two brushes. Work on the art project during trivia breaks the evening of October 9, or whenever your heart desires!
Curated Spotify Playlist
Finish up your art project or create your next one to a custom curated playlist by Duante Beddingfield, host of WYSO Public Radio's Equinox!
Earn both bragging rights and a $15 gift card for a local Dayton restaurant for winning a round of trivia! Two rounds will be included the night of the fundraiser. You may have a team of up to 6 people (all must be registered). The highest scoring team of the night will receive DSA T-shirts! Be sure to beef up on your art knowledge!

The DSA leadership has worked hard to put together baskets for the silent auction. View and bid through October 9 at 9pm at 32auctions.com/caya.
Pick Up Times
Pick up your art project kit, vouchers, etc, at the High Street Gallery from 5pm-7pm on Wednesday, October 7 or Thursday, October 8.
We know some of you may not be comfortable or able to pick up your kits at the High Street Gallery. If that's the case, then we can mail you your vouchers and information for the trivia night! We can't mail you the paints, but you can still participate in a fun evening with the DSA!
Supporting the DSA
Profits from the evening will enable the DSA to continue their work of "connecting, supporting, and educating artists and the community." Throughout 2020 the DSA has hosted professional development workshops for artists as well as material-based workshops to introduce artists and the community to new materials. Utilizing zoom and other technology the DSA was able to quickly maneuver much of their programming to the virtual realm after COVID-19 shut things down. The High Street Gallery happily reopened at the end of July and continues to host exhibitions in a safe and socially distant environment. Enjoy the current exhibition, Illuminate!
