Brubaker, age 90 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Thursday October 27, 2011 at 2:54 AM at the Versailles Health Care Center, Versailles, Ohio. He was born April 7, 1921 in Union City, the son of the late Clyde & Dora (Royer) Brubaker.He was a professional Sign Painter and an Artist. He served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Greenville Eagles, American Legion Post 140, Greenville Elks & an instructor at the Greenville Art Guild BOB BRUBAKER...was born in 1921 in Union City, Ohio. His first break in art came while serving with the Signal Corps in WWII, preparing training aids. The bulk of his training was under Martin Wogoman at the Greenville Art Guild. Then he attended night classes at the Dayton Art Instittute, private classes with Grattan Condon, Don Stone, Paul Strisik and John Pike. Bob belonged to numerous art organizations and exhibits regularly in several galleries.
