Salons originated in the 17th and 18th century as social gatherings of individuals who engaged in the art of conversation in pursuit of knowledge and fellowship.

The DSA's salon follows this tradition focusing on the visual arts and building community through the membership of the DSA.

Each month a member is highlighted and attendees are encouraged to bring work(s) in progress or completed work to share and talk about.

Come and meet fellow Miami Valley artists and enjoy looking at and talking about art!

Bring a work in progress to critique, or a concept to talk about.

This is a FREE event - come and enjoy constructive conversation!

Join Saint Anne's Hill for PorchFest 2020!

Taking place in the historic St. Anne's Hill Historic District - Dayton, Ohio neighborhood, just east of downtown, Dayton Porchfest celebrates our rich and diverse music scene, with musicians and bands covering funk and blues to indie rock and jazz, classical and country, to bluegrass and old-timey that has deep Appalachian roots here. We also celebrate the ethnic diversity of the region, a reflection of our "Welcome Dayton" spirit that has contributed to a significant influx of immigrants and refugees over the past decade. And it all takes place in a family-friend environment in the St. Anne's Hill Historic District, just east of downtown.
