Indianapolis Day
The bigger the city, the more flamboyant a parade can be. But one of the most heartfelt ones I attended was on behalf of the VFW of Indianapolis on July 4th as a volunteer photographer. Of the many, many shots I took that day, what I remember most is this one. The subject of this portrait related to me the camaraderie of his fellow veterans and how humbled he was by the respect paid to them.
